PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an image formation apparatus to suppress a developer from being excessively supplied adaptively to various image output.SOLUTION: A controller 9 starts supplying a developer to a development device by a developer supply device 49 when the time for which a developer detection sensor 41 outputs a specific signal reaches a set time T41L. Further, the controller 9 sets the set time T41L as a first time when an interval (inter-sheet time) of a toner image set by an interval setting part 97 according to the basis weight of a recording material is a first interval. When the interval is a second interval, on the other hand, the controller sets the set time T41L as a second time longer than the first time.
