An arc welding quality evaluating device and an evaluating method thereof are provided to minimize the welding fail by evaluating the welding quality on a real time basis. An arc welding quality evaluating device comprises: an arc welding system(100) which is an automation robot; a current/voltage detecting unit(200) detecting the welding current and voltage of the arc welding system on a real time basis; an A/D converter(300) changing the welding current and voltage of the analog signal state to a digital signal; and a detecting unit(400) determining the quality of the arc welding through the fuzzy inference by determining the membership function from the probability distribution of the determination factor.
