<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the occurrence of short circuit between separators in a so-called flat metal type fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The separator 20 for the flat metal type fuel cell has a resin frame 23; a pair of metal flat plates 21, 22 between which the resin frame 23 is interposed; and a bonding member 24 bonding the metal flat plates 21, 22 and the resin frame23, and a hole 26 for extrusion forming an insulating layer by extruding a part of bonding member 24, which is heat- and press-bonded, to the back side of the metal flat plates 21, 22 is installed in the metal flat plates 21, 22. Preferably, the hole 26 for extrusion is installed in the outer periphery of the separator 20, and more preferably, it is installed in the vicinity of a portion generating short circuit by contact of the adjacent separators 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
