PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent dust preventing effect by providing a hole for making driving shafts pass through on the first portion of a belt and limiting the portion which has the fear for dust to enter around the driving shafts only to the gap between the hole and the driving shafts. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pulleys 36, 38 which are placed leaving a space, a belt 40 guided by these pulleys, and a cover 42 which covers a driving mechanism, the pulleys and the belt and which has a window 43 for making driving shafts 12 pass through are provided on the captioned device. A hole 50 for making the driving shafts 12 pass through is provided on the first portion 44 of the belt. The portion which has the fear for dust to enter around the driving shafts 12 is limited to the gap between the hole 50 and the driving shafts 12. The belt 40 is cut off at a second portion 46 and the cut portions 52, 54 are connected by a spring 56. Thereby, an excellent dust preventing effect can be obtained while enabling the change in tensile force to be absorbed.
