摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for estimating the remaining thickness of furnace bottom brick of a blast furnace inexpensively and in good precision. CONSTITUTION:Plural optical fiber cables 1 are embedded in concentric circular- state at different depths in the furnace bottom part of the blast furnace and a heater is arranged at a reference point fixed in the same radius in the concentric circle. A high temp. point at the time of supplying the electric power to the heater is regarded as the reference point, and after executing the alignment in the length direction of the optical fiber cable, the temps. along the cable from the rear part scattered light irradiating in the optical fiber are obtd. In these temps., plural temps. positioned at the different depths on the same radius in the concentric circle are made as one set, and by estimating the remaining thickness of the brick from heat transfer calculation, the remaining thickness of the brick in the whole range in the circular direction of the furnace bottom can be controlled in good precision and inexpensively.</p>
