PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically inspect whether intended processing is properly carried out while an electronic control unit exchanges signals with a real machine subjected to control concerning automatic inspection equipment of the electronic control unit. SOLUTION: A HILS system 10 is connected to ECU 22. An existing operation pattern is generated in PC 12. A pseudo sensor signal is supplied to ECU 22, and an I/F 16 for receiving an actuator drive signal generated from ECU 22 is provided. A real time processor 14 generates the same signal as a sensor signal generated by receiving the actuator drive signal as a pseudo sensor signal when the real machine being a proper control object operates along the operation pattern. Automatic inspection is performed with PC 12 on whether ECU processing result generated by ECU 22 is normal or not on the basis of the pseudo sensor signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
