摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer analysis method effective for analyzing a cause why a customer who has visited a store leaves without making a purchase in detail.SOLUTION: The customer analysis method using a camera 22 arranged in a store 2 and a purchase history storage device 3 includes steps of: detecting customer's visiting and leaving a store 2 on the basis of data output by the camera 22; identifying the customer on the basis of the data; detecting the presence/absence of customer's purchase during a store visit period showing a period from the customer's visiting and leaving the store; acquiring the information of purchased merchandise as merchandise purchased by the customer in the store 2 during a predetermined period prior to the store visit period by using the purchase history storage device 3 when the customer's purchase is absent during the store visit period; acquiring the inventory information of the purchased merchandise during the store visit period; and updating a customer-categorized inventory management table including the information of the customer and the purchased merchandise when the stockout of the purchased merchandise occurs during the store visit period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
