PURPOSE:To realize safe winding work even for a winding rod with a long arm projecting from its one end by forming a device, which winds a cable on a winding rod in order to curl it, in such a manner as winding of the cable can be performed without rotating the winding rod. CONSTITUTION:At the time of winding a cable C on a winding rod 3, said rod 3 is first fixed to a thrust shaft 5 by means of a chuck 5a, then a rotary arm 6 and a rotary pipe 9 are fitted to the rod 3 by means of a chuck 6a. Subsequently, the cable C pulled out from a drum 1 pierces through the rotary pipe 9 and the terminal of said cable is fixed to the tip of a fixed arm 7. Next, a stepless speed change rectilinear motion mechanism 4 set at a required speed, a motor 13 and a rotary rack 2 are driven. Thus, the rotary pipe 9 is put in rotation round the winding rod 3, and the cable C is wound on the winding rod 3 in an ordinary way by means of feed given to the rod 3 and rotation of the rotary pipe 9. Subsequently, the cable C is cut off and the cut end is fixed to the arm 7. |
