PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rewrite an elevator control program without suspending an elevator. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a first control program memory part 3 storing a control program, a second control program memory part 6 storing a new control program, a control device 2 executing a control program so as to control an elevator, a bus 13 connecting the first control program memory part 3 and the second control program memory part 6 with the control device 2, a switch-over means making switch-over in such a way that either one of the first control program memory part 3 or the second control program memory part 6 is connected with the control device 2, and an interface 9 writing a new control program into the second control program memory part 6.
