The wall element comprises a carrying structure (1,2) forming a frame. The frame takes a double insulating window panel (3) comprising a fire resistant glass (31) and a safety glass (35). The fire resistant glass is located on the outside and the safety glass on the inside. The carrying structure has fixings enabling separate individual fixing of the flame resistant panel. The fixings comprise clamping plates (15) clamping the peripheral edges of two adjacent fire resistant panels. The clamping plates have arched stiffeners (151) for preventing their deformation during a fire. The structure has drainage chutes (14) extending along the flame resistant panels for channelling an air flow.
