A method of reclaiming land from a seashore comprising the following steps: making ferro-cement barges; installing the ferro-cement barges near the shore line side by side and one on top of the other fixedly connected to each other to form a breakwater installation; and installing a plurality of ferro-cement barges near the breakwater installation row by row until an offshore facility is made in the open sea.
