<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle camera device, for taking pictures of a narrow range or a wide range inside a vehicle compartment, without a complicated camera structure. <P>SOLUTION: A mirror has a plane mirror formed of plane mirror, and a convex mirror in a shape of a convex lens constituted of a side face of a sphere. In the mirror, a driver's seat is seen in the plane mirror, and a whole interior is seen in the convex mirror. The pictures of the view seen in the plane mirror or convex mirror are taken by the camera 5. The mirror is driven by a motor through a support member of the plane mirror, to change a photographing range. Data of images taken by the camera 5 is output to a control part 3. The control part 3 performs inattentive driving prevention processing, crime prevention processing, or emergency processing, based on the data of the images of the interior, which is taken through the mirror and then is input from the camera 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
