The sheet folding mechanism is intended for installation as a separate unit or in combination with other machines, and has a base frame with a folding mechanism block with drive and folding units adjustable for height on the frame. The frame can have travel wheels and a locking device to secure it in place. The arrangement allows the mechanism to be easily matched to other machines, with or without the use of intervening transporter tables. The adaptable mechanism is intended to provide variable combinations without the need for different individual machines.
