PURPOSE:To realize dehumidification free from air conditioning load by providing a moisture absorbing element made of a highly waterabsorbable polymer not generating the heat of adsorption at the time of the dehumidification of moisture in air in a dehumidifier equipped with a dehumidifying means of humidity in indoor high humidity air. CONSTITUTION:Indoor high humidity air is supplied to a moisture absorbing element made of a highly water-absorbable polymer by an exhaust circulating blower 5 and humidity therein is absorbed by the moisture absorbing element 7 without generating the heat of absorption and dehumidified air is blown into a room.
