SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY NOTIFYING REAL-TIME TIDAL WAVES USING CELLULAR PHONE

PURPOSE: A system for automatically notifying real-time tidal waves is provided to specify areas having bigger tidal waves in small lattices to analyze tidal phenomena perceived through a numerical model technique and an on-the-spot observation from each lattice, and to find harmonic constants to calculate the tidal waves, so as to notify the calculated tidal waves through a cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A real-time tidal wave notifying system divides sea areas having bigger tidal waves in many small lattices, and calculates harmonic constants from each lattice. The system produces a tidal wave of a cellular phone user's place by using the calculated tidal waves and a location and time supplied from a cellular phone. The system informs the cellular phone of the real-time tidal wave in a graphic. If only latitude, longitude, and time are inputted through the cellular phone, the system informs the cellular phone of a tidal wave of an optional area in which the cellular phone is not included.
