PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to stop the high voltage impression to an electrifier when jammed paper is held between the high-voltage contacts of the electrifier without being removed after jam processing or when the electrifier is not surely mounted. SOLUTION: A transfer high-voltage contact spring 3006a to which the high voltage is impressed and a separation high-voltage contact spring 3007a are respectively brought into contact with the transfer high-voltage contact plate 3006b and separation highvoltage contact plate 3007b of the transfer and separation electrifier 3004 and leaf spring 3008a and 3008b for signals in which the on-signals for high-voltage impression from a CPU flow are brought into contact with a sheet metal 3008c for signal conduction of the transfer and separation electrifier 3004. As a result, the on-signals do not flow via the leaf spring 3008b for signals, the sheet metal 3008c for signal conduction and the leaf spring 3008b for signals when the jammed paper is held between the high-voltage contacts of the transfer and separation electrifier 3004 without being removed after the jam processing or when the transfer and separation electrifier 3004 is not surely mounted and, therefore, the impression of the high voltage on the transfer and separation electrifier 3004 may be prevented. |
