PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which correctly controls an amount for an ink cartridge to pop out of a cartridge mounting part. SOLUTION: The ink supplying device 200 is equipped with: the ink cartridge 100 to which a part to be engaged 125 is set: the cartridge mounting part 202 with an opening 207 through which the ink cartridge 100 can be inserted and drawn out; coil the springs 48 and 49 which urge the ink cartridge 100 held in the cartridge mounting part 202 in a removal direction 29; and a locking member which engages with the part 125 thereby locking the ink cartridge 100 to the removal direction 29. The locking member is equipped with: a locking arm 230 which has a locking part 237 and an operation lever 234 set thereto; a supporting shaft 232 which supports the locking arm 230 changeably in posture between a first posture and a second posture; and a stopper 243 which comes again into contact with the ink cartridge 100 moved by the coil springs 48 and 49 in the removal direction 29.
