<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator operation device capable of improving convenience of a user in putting out refuse, and inexpensively applicable even to a general multiple dwelling house. <P>SOLUTION: A control board 2 controls operation of a car 1 by a plurality of operation modes including an ordinary operation mode of responding to landing hall call registering operation from a general landing hall call button 4 and a refuse putting-out operation mode of responding to landing hall call registering operation from a refuse putting-out exclusive landing hall call button 6. The refuse putting-out operation mode is an operation mode for responding to landing hall call registering operation from the refuse putting-out exclusive landing hall call button 6.
