PURPOSE:To obtain reconstituted milk excellent in flavor, useful for drinking milk, etc., by bringing the original reconstituted milk into contact with a synthetic adsorbent resin to efficiently, easily eliminate offensive odors due to heating and/or milk powder. CONSTITUTION:Reconstituted milk such as skim milk or whole milk powder (its concentration being pref. 6-50wt.%) is brought into contact with a synthetic adsorbent resin such as a weakly basic anion exchange resin, amphoteric ion exchange resin or nonfunctional group-type adsorbent resin to accomplish the objective deodorization of the reconstituted milk. |
