PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device where a sheet is prevented from being doubly fed and deviation in transfer is not caused even in a simplified vertical-type image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The driving parts of original carrying rollers 14a and 14b, a photosensitive belt 21, a developing device 24, a paper feed roller 30 and a fixing device 28, etc., are collectively driven by one stepping motor through a clutch mechanism respectively. When the paper is doubly fed by the roller 30 and a paper detection sensor 32 detects the 2nd paper immediately and continuously to the 1st paper, the stepping motor is reversely rotated to restore the 2nd paper to the position of the roller 30, and paper feed action is restarted. |
