The chamber has a cylindrical foot (1) with a support (11) for the cornea, equipped with a concave supporting surface (13) and at least one aperture (17), forming a feed chamber (16) with an upper radial partition (10) on the foot. A connecting ring (20) slides on the support, gripping or freeing the outer edge of a cornea placed on the support, and fixed in place by a locking sleeve (29). The support is mounted freely on the foot and has an angular positioning element (40,41) in relation to the connecting ring, while the locking sleeve is able to rotate on the foot without axial movement and engages with the connecting ring by means of matching polygonal surfaces (25a,30a) on collars on the ring and sleeve respectively, engaging with one another through sloping surfaces to apply a pressure to the connecting ring when the sleeve is rotated. |
