PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil feeder of a horizontally rotating shuttle capable of feeding a lubricating oil stably to a sliding part just after the restart of a sewing machine even when the sewing machine is restarted after having been stopped for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The oil feeder of the horizontally rotating shuttle comprises a rotating hook 46 supporting a rotating hook bobbin case holder rotatably, a shuttle shaft 31 supported rotatably along a vertical axis, an oil sump 35 formed at the lower end of the shuttle shaft, oil channels 50, 51 and 53 formed to make the oil room and a latch lever sliding part 48 communicate with each other, and a pump for feeding a lubricating oil inside an oil tank mounted on the sewing machine frame to the latch lever sliding part via the oil room. The oil feeder of the horizontally rotating shuttle also has an oil core 54 mounted on the lower end side of the oil channels of the shuttle shaft for feeding the lubricating oil upward from the oil sump and non-woven fabrics 61 and 161 on the opposite side from the latch lever in the oil channels, so that the lubricating oil can be saved in the oil channels while the pump is stopped.
