<p>PURPOSE:To make a growing bead small with manifestation of practical physical property when molded bodies made of mainly polyallylene sulfide of substantial straight chain are to be welded together. CONSTITUTION:Grooves A and B are provided at two parts opposite each other on an end face to be welded. At the groove A, a part to be removed by cutting the groove is made to be larger than that of the groove B. A cross- sectional area 2 of a welding part which will not be removed by the cut of the groove is made to be 5-50% of a cross-sectional area of a part to be welded before the groove is cut. Welding is performed by pressing a welding rod 3 to the larger part to be removed by the cut of the groove.</p> |
