PURPOSE: A bridge figure of shadow mask for a color cathode ray tube is provided, in which bridge of shadow mask is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal direction of shadow mask, to thereby reduce thermal distortion of shadow mask and shorten time taken for stabilization of doming. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises a panel having an inner surface coated with a fluorescent material; a shadow mask assembly including a shadow mask(110) spaced apart from the fluorescent material, and a frame(120) where the shadow mask is fixed; and a funnel coupled to the rear portion of the panel. The shadow mask has a plurality of slots formed in the tension direction, and a bridge formed between slots, at a predetermined tilt angle with respect to the tension direction of the shadow mask.
