A system for publishing a PDF file of a template based web document is provided to print user's web content or to generate e-book type publishing material efficiently. A system for publishing a PDF file of a template based web document includes a template provider(120), an object input unit(110), an editing unit(140), and a document output unit(160). The template provider provides a template, which is an environment for editing or designing, for a user terminal in case that a publishing request signal is inputted from the user terminal. The object input unit receives object data, which is a target web document to be published, from the user terminal. The editing unit enables a user to edit the object data by using the template selected from the user terminal among ones provided for the user terminal. The document output unit transmits edited data to a POD(Printing On Demand) system in order to print the edited data. The editing unit includes a storage unit(142), an extracting unit(141) and a PDF editing unit(143). The storage unit stores attribute information of an HTML based web document and its matched PDF attribute information while they are being interlinked to each other. The extracting unit extracts HTML attribute information from inputted object data. The PDF editing unit extracts the PDF attribute information matched with the extracted HTML attribute information from the attribute information storage unit, converts the inputted target data into PDF attributes, and performs publishing & editing based on the PDF matched with the selected template environment. A controller(150) controls the document output unit to generate print PDF result data when the payment for the printing of the publishing is completed after the PDF result data are transmitted to a user terminal.
