PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile yarn prepared by sufficiently heat-fusing multifilament yarns with binder synthetic fibers to keep the thickness of the pile yarn without being loosen by washing treatments, thus maintaining the cleaning efficiency of a dust control mop formed therefrom, and to provide a dust control mop using the pile yarns. SOLUTION: This pile yarn for the dust control mop is formed by twisting and heat-fusing binder fibers with polyester multifilament yarns produced by spinning and twisting a polyester resin containing reclaimed polyethylene terephthalate resin.
