The nailing unit consists of a magazine (10), which holds the nails (11) and consists of a cylinder (16), forming a series of locations (26) for the reception of the nails. The magazine is fitted with a mechanism, which rotates the nail locations to correspond to the hammering mechanism. Each of the nail locations is designed to lightly grip the nails, sufficiently to prevent their escape, yet insufficiently to prevent their movement, when required, by the mechanism, which is provided to advance the nails into position required by the hammering mechanism and consists of a pushing element (42) and a jack (40) to provide the movement.
