<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subject washed water containing a large amount of sodium chloride to desalination treatment with reverse osmosis membrane in the method for gasifying waste containing a large amount of a vinyl chloride resin by partial oxidation to turn them into a resource. SOLUTION: An organic waste 10 containing a large amount of a vinyl chloride resin or another chlorine-containing resin is gasified by partial oxidation while being fed in its unfractionated state to a direct gasifying apparatus 20 so as to obtain a synthetic gas having, as the major components, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and water which is allowed to contain hydrogen chloride formed by the decomposition of organic chlorine compounds.</p> |
