The present invention relates to a metamaterial absorber. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a metamaterial absorber comprises: a plurality of unit cells which are formed of a multi-layered metamaterial two-dimensionally arranged in a predetermined fashion; and a lower plate installed under the unit cells to prevent waves from penetrating, wherein each unit cell comprises: a first substrate whose one surface is provided with a split-ring resonator formed of a conductive pattern; and a moisture absorbing layer formed of a moisture absorbable material and provided to the other surface of the first substrate, wherein a dielectric coefficient of the moisture absorbing layer changes in accordance with the amount of absorbed moisture and adjustable capacitance induced by the split-ring resonator. According to the present invention, it is possible to adjust the resonant frequency in accordance with the moisture absorption rate. Another objective of the present invention is to provide a moisture measurement system which measures the moisture absorption rate by detecting the resonant frequency, using an input frequency. |
