<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the pressure of hot and cold water from a terminal in view of a bad feeling of use because of low pressure and a small discharge quantity of hot water in a hot water storage type water heater for heating a large quantity of water to store hot water and to supply hot water to a bathtub and a faucet. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage type water heater is provided with a first hot and cold water mixing valve 11 for mixing tap water supplied via a pressure reducing valve 3, with hot water in a hot water storage tank 2 to obtain hot water of first predetermined temperature, and a second hot and cold water mixing valve 12 for mixing tap water before reduced in pressure with the hot water of the first predetermined temperature supplied from the first hot and cold water mixing valve 11, in by-pass piping 13. Tap water before reduced in pressure is thereby mixed with hot water from the first hot and cold water mixing valve 11 to apply waterline pressure before reduced to the hot water obtained by the second hot and cold water mixing valve 12. The hot water discharge pressure from the terminal is heightened to increase the discharge quantity of hot water, thus improving the feeling of use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
