PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for a rear projector and a rear projector equipped with the screen capable of preventing the deterioration of image quality from being caused by forming the screen in concave surface shape by optimizing a Fresnel lens and a lenticular lens so as to fit to the concave surface shape even when the screen is formed in the concave surface shape in order to prevent deflection caused by gravity. SOLUTION: This screen 10 for a projector is constituted of the Fresnel lens 11 installed on the incident side of image light L to be displayed and the lenticular lens 12 installed proximately to the lens 11 on an emitting side. Then, tbe screen 10 is formed in the concave surface shape having curvature in a horizontal direction as seen from an observer X, and the lens 11 has different curvature in the horizontal direction and a vertical direction with respect to the image light L so that optical characteristic is made optimum to fit to the concave surface shape. Then, the rear projector 1 equipped with the screen 10 is constituted.
