PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an abnormal shadow candidate with high precision by reducing an artifact in an inter-picture arithmetic picture based on >=2 pictures concerning the same subject to be the object for shadow reading by comparison. SOLUTION: To an aging subtraction picture Psu prepared in an inter-picture arithmetic means 11, a picture processing means 12 performs a morphology arithmetic processing for relatively suppressing not the substantial difference between the two pictures which become the base of the aging subtraction picture Psu but the artifact. A detecting means 13 detects the abnormal shadow candidate from a processed aging subtraction picture Psu' where the artifact is suppressed. |
