SELF-EXPANDABLE AND LONGITUDINALLY FLEXIBLE STENT

PURPOSE: Provided is a self-elasticity stent which can prevent a severely curved cavity from being damaged even if the stent is inserted into the cavity, by enhancing flexibility in a length direction. CONSTITUTION: The stent includes at least two or more elastic unit structures(1) and connecting members(3) for connecting to the unit structures(1). An end of unit structures(1) is arranged with the other unit structures(1) and the other end is placed with the other unit structures(1) in a length direction. Each unit structure(1) is formed as a zigzag shape having a plurality of straight parts connected by a plurality of bands. The connecting members(3) includes straight wires. An end of each connecting member(3) is connected to the peak point of a band and the other end is connected to a valley part of a band of each unit structure(1).
