PURPOSE: A portable computer is provided to simplify a connection structure for forming an interactive conductive path between elements for shielding and absorbing an electro magnetic wave out of system elements and enhance a noise generation suppressing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A main body(30) includes the upper case(32) having a keyboard receiving portion at the central portion thereof and the lower case(33) having a space unit for mounting a main circuit board. A display panel(40) is engaged in the main body(30). A shield plate(50) is provided between the upper case(32) and the lower case(33). Elements of the shield plate(50) are described as follows. The upper plate(51) is closely installed at the lower portion of the keyboard receiving portion. At least one leg(55,59) is extended from the upper plate(51) to the lower case(33) at a predetermined length. At least one protrusion(52,53,54,58) is provided on the upper plate(51) by protruding the upper case(32) for contacting to a base plate of the keyboard(31). A connection pad(56) is provided at the end of the leg(59) for an interactive earthing connection of a device mounted in the lower case(33). The shield plate(50) is integrally formed by a metal material. In addition, a penetration hole(57) is formed in the upper case(32) at a position corresponded to the protrusions(52,53,54,58) for protruding the protrusions(52,53,54,58).
