摘要 PURPOSE:To speedily obtain the judgement material by arranging a plurality of piezoelectric conversion elements around the axis line extension line of a nozzle in front of the nozzle separated by a prescribed dimension and processing the electric change which is generated when the mists jetted from the nozzle collide with the elements, by a computer. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensing device 3 is arranged so as to cross at right angle with the alternating long and short dashed lines at the part separated by a distance L in front of the nozzle 2 of a fuel injection valve 1. The pressure sensing elements 10 - 19 are installed in concentric form on the axis line extension line of the nozzle 2, onto the surface 4a of a disc-shaped substrate 4 of the device 3, and the variation of the electric resistance is generated in accordance with the magnitude of the applied pressure. In other words, when fuel is sprayed from the nozzle 2 and collide with the pressure sensing elements 10 - 19, the mist applies pressure corresponding to the kinetic energy of the mist onto the pressure sensitive elements 10 - 19, and the variation of the electric resistance corresponding to the magnitude of the applied pressure is generated, and the variation is processed in a computer 40. Therefore, the data of the distribution of the injection angle, injection speed, and the kinetic energy at each part can be obtained.
