PURPOSE: To provide a one-bit sigma delta modulator which can be used at a very high oversampling speed. CONSTITUTION: The one-bit sigma delta modulator is provided with loop filters 5, 6, and 8, first negative feedback loops 13, 7, and 8, and second negative feedback loops 14, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Filter parts 5 and 8 are passive filter elements, and the filter part 6 is a high-gain active filter element. In a circuit of this form, the clock speed in a decision switch 10 can be made very high.
