The purpose of the present invention is to enable an indwelling urethral catheter to be replaced partially. This unit for a balloon catheter has: a urinary tube (13) having a first urinary passage (14); a branch tube (11) having a first passage (12) through which liquid for expanding or contracting a balloon (54) flows; and a connection tube (30) configured so that one end thereof is connected to the first urinary passage (14) or the first passage (12).
