PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for molding a disk such as a compact disk long in service life while restraining the manufacturing cost from being raised without making the manufacturing step complicated. SOLUTION: This device for molding the disk is provided with a stamper 52 being a molding mother die of the disk and a metallic mold 50b having a fitting surface 50c for fixing the stamper 52 in a cavity so that the disk, to which the surface shape of the stamper 52 is transferred, is molded by forcibly feeding the melted resin material for the disk into the cavity. Both of the fitting surface 52a of the stamper 52 side to the mold 50b and the surface 50c of the mold 50b side are covered with DLC layers 1, 2 respectively. The percentage of sp3 bond occupied by carbon in the DLC layers 1, 2 is 30% or more to 85% or less and Vickers hardness of the surface of the layer 1, 2 is 3,000 kgf/mm2 (29.419×103 N/mm2) or higher to 9,000 kgf/mm2 (88.260×103 N/mm2) or lower. The layer 1 or/and layer 2 are furthermore covered with a polyfluorinated hydrocarbon layer 3.
