Luminescent substance with europium (Eu 2>+>)-doped silicate luminophores, comprises: alkaline earth metal oxyorthosilicates; rare earth metal orthosilicates; and solid solutions in the form of mixed phases arranged between the alkaline earth metal oxyorthosilicates and rare earth metal oxyorthosilicates.
