FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring morphometric parameters of histological bone tissue preparations like longitudinal and transverse slices of the III rib, transverse slices of tibial epiphysis and diaphysis, measuring ratios between cartilage and bone tissue areas in transitional zone of the rib, extent of active osteogenesis zone, endotrabecular osteon Gavers canal diameter, the number of endotrabecular osteons. The results are input into regression equations and human age is obtained by means of calculation. EFFECT: high accuracy in determining dead person age. _ |
