摘要 The present invention relates to sliding windows with an improved sealing and heat insulation performance of a window sash. The purpose of the present invention is to provide sliding windows capable of providing a high sealing performance by increasing adhesion with a vertical rail of a window inserted when a window is closed by providing a sealing and insulation member inserted into the vertical rail groove on a side of a window sash forming sliding windows, blocking thermal conduction by blocking convection currents of air by partitioning the inner space of the window sash, and preventing an accident by having a buffering structure corresponding to an impact on the vertical rail. The sliding windows including a window frame including horizontal window frames at an upper portion and a lower portion thereof and left and right window sashes having rollers moving along the rails formed at the horizontal window frames of the lower portion thereof comprises: a sealing and heat insulation member (1) which is vertically installed at a rail groove (51) formed on a side surface of the window sash (5) to be in contact with each side surface of the vertical rail of the window frame (3) when the window sash is closed to be sealed and which performs insulation by blocking an inner space of the rail groove; and a pressurizing unit (2) vertically installed at each groove portion formed to face the rail groove and pressurizing both sides of the sealing and insulation member (1).
