<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting mechanism which improves the function of sealing a corrosion inhibitor or a lubricating material filled between a rubber ring and each of a hub and a ball thrusting ring without decreasing the precision of cutting torque off, maintains the sealing function, and supports thrust generated in the rotating shaft of the hub. <P>SOLUTION: Both sides of each radial taper recessed portion 8a of the rotating shaft of an inner ring 8 are provided with axial abutment portions 8c, 8d of the rotating shaft on which balls 9 abut. Even when the rotating shaft 2 of a compressor or others tends to move to its axial direction, the axial abutment portions restrict the axial movement of the balls. Trust generated in the rotating shaft is therefore supported. Lip seals 7a are formed all over the inner periphery face of the rubber ring 7 so as to be obliquely protruded from two portions contacting the inner ring. The ends of both lip seals have press contact with the inner face at the end of a flange 10h of the hub 10 and with the inner face at the end of the ball thrusting ring 12, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
