A machining device having a filter device, in which a machining device body has a first working liquid tank for containing clean working liquid and a second working liquid tank for containing used unclean working liquid etc. The filter device has first means, second means, and third means that are connected in series to a fluid-flow related section in an arbitrary order. The first means is fluid drive means for sending by pressure the working liquid etc. to one direction. The second means is a cyclone filter for removing cut pieces and cut powder contained in the working liquid etc. and having a weight greater than a predetermined level.The third means is a spring filter for removing cut pieces and cut powder contained in the working liquid etc. and having a weight greater than a predetermined level. The filter device returns the used unclean working liquid etc. in the second working liquid tank to the first working liquid tank after cleaning them.
