PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase grinding efficiency of a metallic plate in a limited space. SOLUTION: A grinding belt 5 is wound around a drive roll 41 and a plurality of contact rolls 4. In more preferable embodiment, an elastic belt 43 for energizing the grinding belt between a plurality of billy rolls 42 and/or a plurality of contact rolls in peripheral outward direction is wound.
