PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for recording a detection position on a circuit board which can easily decide the providing position of a supporting projection (supporting pin) supporting a printed wiring board or the fitting position of an inspection probe on an inspection board while the actual wiring board is used. SOLUTION: A table T can be moved on an X-Y plane at constant pitches and light is irradiated from an irradiation device La at every pitch. When the table T is moved, spot light on a wiring board 11 is observed and the position is the supporting possible position of the board 11, a boring machine 19 is driven and a hole is formed on a recording sheet 25 on the table T. The recording sheet 25 is overlapped with a back up board and the supporting pin is erected on an engaged hole matched with the position of the hole on the sheet. A position for fitting a pointer on the inspection board can be set.
