摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a partial discharge detection with a constant sensitivity even without making constant the distance between a ray source and a detection target by inadiating an insulator with a bundle of parallel X rays orγrays. SOLUTION: X rays 2 from a straight X-ray source 1 are passed through a slit 3 as a narrow bundle of rays 2a. The bundle of rays 2a is dispersed within a range surrounded by straight lines 2b and 2c for connecting both edges 1a and 1b of the X-ray source 1 and edges 3a and 3b at the opposite side of the slit 3 in the longer direction of the slit 3. When the bundle of rays 2a passes through a solar slit 4, it advances without being limited in the longer direction of an individual slit and an advancing direction is aligned constantly in width direction. The X rays 2 along the straight lines 2b and 2c are cut, and the bundle of rays 2a becomes a bundle of parallel rays in a direction along a straight line for connecting the X-ray source 1, the slit 3, and the solar slit 4 and passes through an aperture 5 and then enters an inspection target 6. The aperture 5 deviates from the solar slit 4 and shields the dispersed X rays 2, thus improving the sensitivity of partial discharge detection.
