PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin for solar cell encapsulant sheet that has a low heat shrinkage and is excellent in transparency, and to provide a production process therefor.SOLUTION: The production process comprises: a step of charging 67 to 76 wt.% ethylene monomer and 24 to 33 wt.% vinyl acetate monomer limitedly only to the front portion of a tubular reactor; a step of adding a peroxide-based initiator comprising a mixture in which one or more selected from a dialkyl peroxydicarbonate-based compound (A), an alkyl peroxy pivalate-based compound (B), an alkyl peroxy-ethylhexanoate-based compound (C), and (D) a dialkyl peroxide-based compound (D) in a weight ratio of (A):(B):(C):(D)=e:f:g:h such that e, f, g, and h are included within a range of 0 to 8.0, at a concentration of 50 to 3000 ppm; and followed by a step of polymerizing at 200 to 300°C under a pressure of 2500 to 3000 kg/cmfor 2 to 20 minutes.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
