A compound represented by the general formula (II) or a salt thereof: (II) wherein R11 and R13 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms which is substituted by a halogen atom or the like; R12 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms which is substituted by a halogen atom or the like; R 14 and R15 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms which is substituted by a halogen atom; X1 represents CH or N; Z1 represents an oxygen or sulfur atom; W1 represents an oxygen atom or CH2; and q is an integer of 2 to 4. The compound or salt can be used as an activator for PPARH. |
