PURPOSE: To thin down a motor encoder as a whole and, at the same time, to miniaturize the encoder so that the encoder can be incorporated in a motor. CONSTITUTION: A motor encoder incorporated in a motor having a stator 4 and a rotor 5 in a motor case 1 is composed of a rotary disk 12 provided in the coupling 7 of the rotating shaft 6 of the motor and a detecting section 13 provided on the motor case 1 side so that the encoder in the axial direction can be thinned down. |
