<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell in which the current collector is not deformed at formation of the stack, and a gas passage is secured, and permeability of gas is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell comprises an electrolyte 2, a fuel electrode 3 laminated on one face of the electrolyte, an air electrode 4 laminated on another face of the electrolyte, current collectors 5, 5 that are made of nickel felt as a parent material and are laminated on the opposite side of the respective electrolyte 2 of the fuel electrode 3 and air electrode 4.
